Don't panic! This is the #1 issue and usually has a simple fix: 1. Check your RAM allocation — make sure you've assigned enough (see Installation Guide) 2. Update Java to the correct version (Java 17+ for 1.19/1.20, Java 8 for 1.12) 3. Verify your Forge version matches the modpack requirement 4. Check the crash log (in .minecraft/crash-reports) and search for the mod causing issues 5. If all else fails, hop into our Discord #support channel!

Welcome to the world of 1500+ mods. Yes, load times of 10-15 minutes are completely normal for the larger packs. The 1.19.2 version especially takes its sweet time. Go make a sandwich, do some laundry, contemplate the meaning of life. Your game WILL eventually load. If it's been over 20 minutes, check that you have enough RAM allocated.

Technically yes! But proceed with caution. Some mods are dependencies for others. If you remove a mod and things break, check if other mods depended on it. Pro tip: disable the mod first (rename .jar to .jar.disabled) instead of deleting it. That way you can easily re-enable it.

For the 1.20.1 version (700+ mods): Maybe, if it's a decent gaming laptop with 16GB+ RAM. For the 1.12.0 version (1000+ mods): You'll need a solid machine. For the 1.19.2 version (1500+ mods): Almost certainly not. This version needs 27GB+ RAM. That's not a suggestion, it's a requirement. Your laptop will either burst into flames or just refuse. We recommend a desktop PC for this one.

Technically? Yes. Practically? Your GPU will write you a letter of resignation. With 1500+ mods already pushing your system to its limits, adding shaders is like asking a marathon runner to also juggle chainsaws. If you have an RTX 4090 or similar, go for it. Otherwise, maybe appreciate the beauty of 8 FPS.

1. Back up your world saves (ALWAYS do this first!) 2. Download the new version from our Discord or download page 3. Replace the mods folder (or do a fresh install if major version change) 4. Launch and let it rebuild configs Note: Major version updates may not be world-compatible. Always check the changelog.

First: breathe. Second: check your backups. You DO have backups, right? ...Right? If you have backups, restore from the most recent one. If not, try: 1. Look for region file backups in the world folder 2. Try loading the world in vanilla first 3. Use NBTExplorer to repair damaged chunks 4. Ask for help in our Discord #support channel Lesson learned: Set up automatic backups. Mods like FTB Backups can save your life.

Absolutely! But your server needs serious hardware: - 1.20.1 version: 8GB+ RAM recommended - 1.12.0 version: 12GB+ RAM recommended - 1.19.2 version: 16GB+ RAM minimum, 24GB+ ideal All players need the same modpack version. Use the server pack (without client-side mods) for the server. Dedicated hosting is recommended — don't try to host AND play on the same machine unless you enjoy pain.
